The mission of TWS is to advocate diversity, equity and inclusion for visually impaired population. TWS aims to reduce employment barriers by preparing students with competitive skills for a future workforce. Additionally, TWS also promotes physical and mental health among visually impaired students by organizing activities in warm and inclusive environments so they become more independent and feel more confident about themselves. Self-confidence and self-advocacy are essential for being successful in the work environment.
