MIT Museum Visit

MIT, also known as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, is a university which was founded to help develop America’s industrial revelation and now provides hundreds of scientific breakthroughs. On it’s campus, MIT provides a museum to display their community’s work, including technological art pieces, development in AI, architecture, and the overall history of the school itself.

Sur La Table Cooking Class

Sur La Table provides cooking classes to those who are willing to improve the home cooking skills. With the support of experts in the field, customers of all ages are given step by step instructions with assisted demonstration and culinary techniques that can be used in the kitchen. Recipes are also given out for the home cooks to try out themselves, perhaps becoming a recurring meal in the household.

Museum of Science Visit

In addition to exploring the Museum of Science, our students are assigned a time slot at 11AM with the Sound Exploration organization to experience a program called the “Exploring Tag-Derived Whale Locomotion and Behavior Sequence Data with Blind and Visually-Impaired Students through Music and 3-D Sculpture Multi-Modal Models.” Our students will have a chance to interact with the 3D sculpture models accompanied by a live musical performance and to learn about these magnificent whales from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) research.
