Pizza and Calzone
In this Sur La Table cooking class focused on pizza and calzone, our students learned how to make fresh dough, master stretching techniques, and choose the perfect toppings for a perfect margarita pizza. They also discovered how to create a flavorful calzone by filling dough pockets with savory ingredients including ricotta and sausage. The class includes shaping and tying dough into knots, then brushing them with a garlic-butter mixture for golden, flavorful garlic knots. By the end of the class, They had obtained the skills to bake mouthwatering pizzas, calzones, and garlic knots from the comfort of their own kitchens.
